I've mastered making DELECTABLE focaccia bread after a few tries - here is my most recent batch I made a few days before Christmas of 2019. It is only a few ingredients and anyone can make this! It does require patience and planning as it is best when the dough can rest for an entire 24 hours in the fridge.
I must give credit where credit is due and share the recipe I love using the most - check out the recipe on The Cafe Sucre Farine blog.
This random quote I found on the internet truly captures my love for my favorite bread - I'll let Susan Wiggs do the talking from here on out:
“Returning to the buffet, she helped herself to another piece of focaccia bread, the top glistening with a sheen of olive oil and sprinkled with big crystals of salt, fronds of rosemary and tiny curls of thinly sliced garlic. She tasted the bread and made a sound of pleasure that would have embarrassed her if anyone had heard.
"It's even better with this Cabernet." Dominic Rossi stood there with two full glasses of red wine.
Tess felt her face heat with a blush. Okay, so he'd heard.”
